NPM has at least 30 internship positions to be confirmed from 49 internship project proposals. Tauira get your applications in - review the many projects, select which interests you most and apply with your CV, transcript and a reference.

This year we include 3 special named internship awards on offer, these are inaugural Named Scholar Scholarships. Honouring three of our esteemed NPM scholars and their whānau; Professor Wharehuia Milroy (Te Reo), Professor Michael Walker (Tai Ao) and Associate Professor Mānuka Hēnare (Whai Rawa). 

Gravida-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga PhD Scholarship

Through the new Gravida-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga PhD Scholarship Fund, support is available for an outstanding postgraduate student engaged in research into an early start to life and fostering te pā harakeke (fostering healthy and prosperous Māori families). This research should be concerned with understanding what keeps a family well and prospering, and the barriers to families flourishing.
 

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Research Methods and Skills Scholarships

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga is pleased to announce its Research Methods and Skills Scholarships via the New Zealand Social Statistics Network (NZSSN) 2015 November programme. The New Zealand Social Statistics Network is offering 12 short courses in social science research methods, over the period 9th–20th November 2015. Courses take place in Railway West, at Victoria University of Wellington's School of Government.

Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Travel Awards in Indigenous Development April Round

Applications for this round close 1st April 2013. These awards, valued at up to NZ$5,000 are for New Zealand academics, artists or professionals to visit the United States of America for 12 to 90 days in order to present their work on a theme of indigenous development to American audiences. A small number of awards are granted each year.
