Scheduled website outage Wednesday 27 January 10am

A scheduled outage for web server maintenance is planned for tomorrow, 27th January 2010 from 10am - 1045am.

AFFECTED SYSTEM, AREA OR BUILDING:
Maramatanga.co.nz and .ac.nz web site - no service will be available.


BUSINESS IMPACT:   
Browsers/user will be unable to use the NPM internet.


DESCRIPTION OF THE INCIDENT/OUTAGE:   
The windows web server (Virtual Machine) will undergo diaster recovery implementation and security maintenance/patch.

PŌWHIRI TO WELCOME CHARLES ROYAL TO NGĀ PAE O TE MĀRAMATANGA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND

Te Ahukaramū Charles Royal has recently been appointed Director of Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, one of New Zealand’s eight centres of research excellence. He has also been appointed Professor of Indigenous Development in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Auckland. Charles’s appointment commenced the 1st of December 2009.

On the 9th of February, Charles will be formally welcomed upon Waipapa Marae, Wynyard Street, the University of Auckland.
The pōwhiri will commence at 10am,
followed by lunch. We invite you to join with us to celebrate Charles’s appointment. If you would like to attend, please let us know (for catering purposes).
